Countdown is on for the first edition of Re-Barcelona

28 September, 2019

This November, in less than two months, RE-BARCELONA kicks off. It will be the first global gathering of sustainable and ethical fashion in Southern Europe. The international two-day event will bring together the latest innovations and initiatives in the creation, production, sale and use of sustainable fashion. It will be an annual international forum on the sustainable and ethical fashion industry with a strong social impact component to raise awareness among consumers.

During two days, the event will turn Barcelona into the international epicentre of ethical and sustainable fashion. The event, held at Disseny Hub Barcelona, will celebrate a Professional Summit (29 nov), addressed to professionals, and an Open Space (29-30 Nov), addressed to the general public to encourage reflection on the complexity of sustainable fashion and raise general awareness.

Among the companies that will show their presence are big industry players like Kering, largest manufacturers like Nextil Group, or leading manufacturers like Girbau, and many more. Organised by Moda Sostenible Barcelona association and Seed&Click, Re-Barcelona counts with the support of Barcelona City Council and Disseny Hub.

This first edition counts with the collaboration of institutions such as the British Council, the General Consulate of France and the General Consulte of Italy; and of projects such as MODA-FAD, or the centres Barcelona Centre de Disseny and TecnoCampus. Re-Barcelona also counts with as a media partner.

If you want to join us in the Professional Summit to take part in the conversation focused on what it means to take fashion to sustainability, secure your seat today.
